Welcome to room F-7! In tutorial, we will focus on improving students’ skills in Language Arts.  Students in tutorial will participate in six to eight week units of focused topics, building strength in particular areas.  Some, but not all, students will have me as their teacher in their core (daily) Language Arts class, as well.  The other teachers and I will communicate frequently about our students’ progress and make determinations about each student’s need to remain in the tutorial class. I expect nothing less than the best from my students. I accept only responsible, respectful behavior and work to the best of each student’s ability.  I am confident that with a team of families, students and teachers, we can accomplish our goals and have a fantastic year.  Grading Your grade will be determined based on these factors: ·         Attendance/Participation/In Class Assignments ·         Special Projects ·         Tests/Quizzes My grading system is based on points; each assignment matters, and each point contributes to your overall grade.
